ISLETA EL ESPINO
Isleta El Espino is a private island ecolodge in Lake Nicaragua just off the coast of the colonial city of Granada. With five guest rooms, the lodge features a swimming pool, kayaks, spa services, an intimate bar, and dining. We are just minutes away from the center of Granada and an array of activities including hiking, dining, shopping, and exploration. Isleta El Espino is off-grid and solar powered.
BUGS, BATS, AND OTHER CRITTERS
Isleta El Espino is a true ecolodge in every sense. We value nature and, yes, there are bugs, sometimes big ones. So we might not be right for every traveler. But if you love the wonder of nature and don't mind a few intrusions, please come for a visit.
ROOMS
Each of our 5 guest rooms feature a private deck with lake view, mosquito net over the bed, screened windows, ceiling fan, closet safe, and private bathroom with hot water shower. The Treetop Rancho rooms are elevated into the canopy of our mango grove and overlook the pool and lake. These two side by side rooms each feature queen beds. The Bungalow offers privacy with views of the lush landscape and the lake beyond. This room features a queen bed and built-in sofa. The Casitas offer more seclusion with views of the lake and Volcan Mombacho. Each of these two rooms feature king beds and built-in outdoor sofa.
